There are rumors in social media that BJP National Vice President Mukul Roy is leaving BJP and would join TMC after the meeting of TMC supremo Mamta Banerjee.
If we will focus on the political history of Mukul Roy, we can see that he had joined BJP in 2017. In 2017, BJP was a zero-number party in Bengal. He has campaigned for BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections. He has also campaigned for BJP in the 2021 Legislative Assembly Elections. In both elections, BJP has improved itself. From zero number party now it has become the 2nd number party in Bengal. So, there are chances for BJP to become the number one party in Bengal in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. So the question arises in my mind Why would he join TMC?

Mukul Roy's supporters are saying that if Mukul Roy joins TMC, then this should be treated as a strong move of BJP to make a dent in the TMC party.
