Digital Strike On 59 Chinese Apps : Opportunity For Indian Developers

First, we will see a summary of the press release by the Ministry of Information and Technology, Government of India. "Government of India Bans 59 mobile apps which are prejudicial to the sovereignty and integrity of India, the security of the state and public order". The Ministry of Information Technology, invoking its power under section 69A of the Information Technology Act read with the relevant provisions of the Information Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking of Access of Information by Public) Rules 2009 and in view of the emergent nature of threats has decided to block 59 apps since, in view of the information available they are engaged in activities which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, the security of the state and public order.

These Chinese apps have built a nexus that is stealing your data and transferring it to Chinese servers, basically, a threat to the security of India. But we should do something to bring some change to our society. First of all, remove all Chinese apps from your parent's mobile phone because they are the first target of Chinese companies. In WhatsApp or Facebook status some of your relatives or friends are still being posting TikTok, Helo, or Likee videos, ask them to remove those videos from the platform, otherwise, block them. Give some of your time to recognize better Indian apps that are performing well. You can also share those app details with us. We will promote those Made in India apps on our social platforms. Also, by banning these 59 apps, Govt. of India has given a clear message to the Chinese government. It will be an economic loss for china, that's why we are saying it as the digital strike on china. From the legal point of view, India is very clear and knows its power under the Information Technology Act section 69A.

Daily some developers are developing better apps to reduce our dependency on Chinese apps. If you are a developer, start developing from today onwards, we will support you but if you are a user then it is your duty towards your nation to uninstall all Chinese apps from your smartphone and support Swadeshi Apps. From an economical point of view, we are reducing our trade deficit with China, which is a piece of good news for us. Governments are performing their rights and rituals but as an individual, we should also perform our fundamental duties towards our nation.

If you are facing any problem after uninstalling the Chinese apps and not able to find alternatives to that app. In that case, I may suggest one website which is also a startup Swadeshi Tech launched during the lockdown period. You will get Swadeshi alternatives for all Chinese apps.

By the way, we have lost our 20 brave soldiers, we should not forget it. If they are fighting for us, then we should have to fight for them. Public awareness is a key role for this china sentiments to be converted into India's rapid growth in the manufacturing sector.

I am sad for those who are part of these Chinese companies but lost the job. I will request the government to help these people by making a registration portal and support them. Because these people have better knowledge and experience, and they are beneficial for our Swadeshi Mission. If all these people make a union and work on Swadeshi IT projects, we will see major changes sooner or later.

Never lose hope, this is the second step taken by the government, many steps are waiting for their turn. Make Swadeshi: Made in India, as a  Global campaign.
